Elefante Family

The design of this toilet paper and towel holder set began with the need for differentiation in a market where most options look alike. During my internship at Ruya Akyol Design Studio, I aimed to create a piece that stood out while maintaining functionality and elegance.

Inspired by the graceful yet strong form of an elephant, the design features curved steel structures that subtly reference the animal’s trunk. The arched silhouette adds a sculptural quality, while the sturdy yet lightweight construction ensures durability.

Available in two sizes, the toilet paper holder offers a fresh take on a common household item, balancing practicality with aesthetic refinement. This project allowed me to rethink everyday objects through a more expressive and purposeful design approach.
